God of Healing, I ask that you keep your hands on Tiger and show mercy upon him. Whatever injuries that may have occurred from this accident please heal and strengthen his vessel and to this let it be a great testimony of your awesomeness and glory to Your name. And tend to his wife and children increasing their love & hope in you O God. Send your healing and anointing in the name of Jesus. Amen

I think the prayer needs to be, at this point, to ask God's glory to be revealed through this entire Tiger Woods situation. No one is condoning his actions, and consequences will ensue, as they do for all of our sins. But I am finding it hard to find people who are willing to pray for Tiger, as a lost person who needs the arms of Jesus more than anyone else right now. Paul said, "No one is righteous, not even one." And God can use this for his glory: "And we know in all things God works together for good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose." Imagine the discussions that are happening right now concerning Tiger. Are we speaking hope into their family's life? Do we point fingers, judge, bad mouth and lambaste? I know in my own life I don't have a stone to cast since God has saved me from my wretchedness a long time ago. All of us are susceptible to temptation. The key here is to demonstrate grace to the undeserved. After all, which of us here deserves God's love or merited favor? I have gotten caught up in the story, I admit, and it is tempting to hear more gossip and slander. I confess this. Now, I want to ask God to find whatever way possible for Jesus to be glorified. Wouldn't it be something, despite the horrific consequences of his actions, if he had to come out of this with nothing in order to gain EVERYTHING in Christ? "The world and its desires pass away, but the one who does the will of the Lord will live forever."

Again, I don't condone sin. Consequences are sure to follow. But for Tiger, and for all of us, let's pray for forgiveness and grace so that God's name might be revered above all others. This is not about anyone else's glory but God's alone.

How can we show love? Pray for God to demonstrate Himself in Tiger's life. Sometimes it takes our own selfish decisions to leave us with one choice: Jesus Christ. I pray Jesus Christ come to Tiger, his family, and those involved.

Money, fame and fortune mean nothing. Humility, service and love mean everything in the Kingdom of God. It took the Spirit to speak to me about this; may that same Spirit speak to us as we show others that true children of God remember what it's like to find forgiveness and grace through Christ alone.

Jesus, have your hand in our lives and remind us that we are brittle, fragile creatures needing you at every turn and in every second of our day. Forgive us for forgetting you and for living our lives outside of your will. May we return to you so that you will heal us, our land, and our futures. To God be the glory, for the things he has done, is doing, and will do. Amen!
