He is scheduled to have his right leg amputated today, just above the knee. He was told that if he didn't have the amputation he would die. Please pray for him as he has several health problems that normally would complicate his surgery. He is a Christian and does believe in healing. Please pray for his parents, too, as he is their only living child. They just lost their other son last year. Please pray also for his daughters. Thanks from his dear friend!

Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for Mike and his family as they adjust to this new challenge.
He went through the surgery really well and is recovering. He has a long road ahead as he adjusts without one leg and it will be several months before he is recovered enough to be fit with a prosthesis.
